Given Filson’s track record with the hit series, we would not be surprised if items from its rugged yet stylish new collection pop up.

Bad news: We are still months away from the second half of Season 5 of Yellowstone, which is set to saddle up for one last ride beginning November 10th. Good news: We need not wait to gear up appropriately, as Filson just dropped its latest collection, dubbed The New West, with smart updates to iconic pieces we just might see on the show.

It remains to be seen whether the Dutton clan and co. will actually suit up in these garments, but considering the affinity they have for the brand — both John (Kevin Costner) and Beth (Kelly Reilly) have donned Filson coats, and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) regularly rocks a Short Lined Cruiser — it’s a distinct possibility.

Even if they don’t, you should consider doing so yourself, because the new arrivals (highlighted by fresh colorways that nonetheless sustain Western flair) look fantastic. Here are a few items we love — that would not look at all out of place on a sprawling ranch in Montana.

Filson Lightweight Alaskan Guide Shirt

Made of comfortable yet long-lasting 6-oz. 100 percent cotton twill, the Lightweight Alaskan Guide Shirt is an airier alternative to the standard version beloved by ranchers and guides since the mid-’90s.

It features a relaxed fit and rear-shoulder box pleat, expandable chest pockets and chip-resistant buttons on the pockets, front closure and adjustable cuffs. It’s available in a dozen colorways, including Golden Tan (shown).

Filson Wool Jac-Shirt

When the temps start to drop, this 100 percent wool shirt/jacket hybrid is worth a look. The material itself is naturally water-resistant and warm (even when wet), while the tight weave delivers both breathability and wind resistance.

Two chest pockets provide light storage, the fit is relaxed and a straight hem encourages untucked wear. The Wool Jac-Shirt is available in five colorways, including Oat/Brown/Heather/Multi Plaid (shown).

Filson Beartooth Jac-Shirt

The Beartooth Jac-Shirt might be the most versatile offering of the bunch. It’s made of 100 percent cotton double-cloth, with snap-flap chest pockets, a layered slotted-utility pocket on the left side and angled-entry welted hand pockets.

The Beartooth’s blanket-weight cotton is suitable as both an outer layer or under a jacket (depending on the weather), and it comes in four colorways, including Bloodstone/Tan Ombre (shown).

Filson Tin Cloth Field Jacket

Behold a garment that could stick around your cool-weather wardrobe for literally decades to come. Thanks to Filson’s signature oil finish tin cloth, this Field Jacket will stand up to the worst precipitation and abrasion Mother Nature’s dish out.

The collar and hand pockets are lined with cozy Mackinaw Wool, while the back features a zippered side-entry pocket lined with coated nylon perfect for stashing gloves, hats and other essentials — or using as a game bag.

In a finishing touch that would make Rip Weaver smile, the expandable front pockets can fit a box of 12-gauge shells — and even contain internal dividers to keep them sorted. The Tin Cloth Field Jacket comes in two colorways, Dark Tan and Otter Green (shown).
