The first time I rode an Indian Scout motorcycle, through the two-wheeler’s paradise that is southwestern South Dakota, I was pretty damn blown away by the combo of power, speed and style that an entry-level cruiser could deliver. I’m not alone, as Indian’s best-selling bike has helped the brand more than sextuple its global market share over the past decade, to 13 percent.
Perhaps that overwhelming success is part of the reason Indian has been so hesitant to tinker with the formula. While the brand has rolled out various versions of the bike — including the Scout Bobber Sixty and Scout Rogue — we have not seen a major reload in years. Until today, in the splashiest possible way.
That’s because Indian has announced five new-and-improved Indian Scout models, along with three different trim levels and a host of accessories for the best possible ride, at a price that (hopefully) won’t crush your dreams. Here’s everything you need to know.
What’s Different About the New Scouts?
The five 2025 models are the Scout Bobber, Sport Scout, Scout Classic, Super Scout and 101 Scout, and while each has its own unique properties, some outstanding qualities unite them.
Aiming to be the leader in the midsize cruiser segment, Indian focused on maintaining the Scout’s iconic style, providing a balance of power and control and introducing rider-centric tech. The result is a line of bikes the brand believes just about anyone — including beginners and shorter riders — can have an absolute blast riding.
