Anyone who’s been following the affordable watch space over the past few years will tell you that Timex has been on an absolute heater.
The iconic American brand has found success in two lanes especially: The return of mechanical movements in its watches and thoughtful reissues of stylish vintage references.
When these two strategies come together, Timex watches really sing, and one of the best in recent memory to do so was the Marlin Jet Automatic, which launched earlier this year in January.
The $289 watch was only available online and sold out in a flash, leaving prospective buyers disappointed. If you’re one of the many who missed out on that initial sale window, then today is your lucky day, as the Marlin Jet Automatic is now officially back in stock.

What Makes This Timex So Special?
While it’s based on Timex’s Marlin dress watches of the 1960s, the Marlin Jet isn’t technically a vintage reissue — despite its obvious throwback stylings.
Instead, the watch’s retro look was inspired by classic Space Age design in general. This can be seen in the crosshair dial with assymetrical 24-hour counter, the grooved bezel sporting an engraved “Marlin” logo and the repeating concentric circle patterns found throughout the watch.
